In our In Reality: Industry Case Studies program, the American Coal Council is continuing its efforts to educate the public on the services and offerings of the American coal industry.

Where an ACC member has accomplished something amazing, has made a difference in their community, or their local (or extended) environment, we will highlight that story here.

For example, if an ACC member company has achieved significant success in reducing emissions, or has played a role in restoring native species to a reclaimed mine site, or has improved its operating efficiency (and in doing so reduced its costs), we would like to hear about it. Submit it to us and we will post it here as an example of our industry's tireless efforts to better themselves, their employees, their environment and those around them.
